2023 TRUEFORM TRAINER

The 2023 TrueForm Trainer, with its gentle curve of 2.5 inches from the lowest part of the curve to the highest point near the front and rear, it’s the least steep curve on the market, which promotes good walking, running, and sprinting form. The shallow curve also allows you to easily and safely control your speed.

The proprietaryĀ Responsive Belt TechnologyĀ®Ā reacts to every subtly in your movement ā€“ balance, posture, hip position, foot strike and more ā€“ creating the most natural treadmill running surface and experience when compared to running outdoors. The TrueForm Trainer belt responds to your pace, allowing you to go from a walk to a jog, to a sprint, to a stop ā€“ instantly. You will immediately feel when your body is not in the optimal position for running or walking. The runner has to be in balance at all times, improving core strength. Although you will feel the difference immediately, both on and off the Trainer, long term use of TrueForm treadmills will promote better movement patterns improving overall health and wellness.

Training on the TrueForm treadmill results in less stress, more effort, 33% higher calorie-burn, more balanced movement, and running under properly positioned load to support your own bodyweight, all while reducing the risk of running injury. Run strong and stay injury free!

  1. Samantha

I am very happy with my decision to purchase the Trueform Trainer. I love the feel of the rubber treads and the curved running shape. I love that I am pulling the belt and can change speed or stop instantly with no buttons. I wish the belt was wider but my feet only go outside once or twice per workout. There’s also no curved manual treadmill with a wider belt. The Trainer is a real beast to get into your house, so be prepared for that. It is in no way a one person job – maybe not even a two person job. Definitely plan on first floor placement.

Areas for improvement: more console instructions in the manual. I had to play with the buttons to see how they worked. There’s no mention of which cardio chest straps are compatible or anything about using them. The handrails were difficult to screw on the uprights because a little too wide. I had to muscle them into place. There are some rubber squeaks from rubbing on the belt, but they’re not too bad, and my earbuds block them out.

Of course everyone mentions lack of a water bottle holder. Trueform recommends magnetic holders on their YouTube video, but I found an ideal solution. Get the 2″ black fuel filter bracket from Evil Energy on Amazon. It’s all aluminum and has a nice rubber insert to protect your frame. I mounted mine on the back side of the top bar so my arms don’t hit it when swinging. You have to detach one side of the handrail and remove the rubber gasket to get it on. Then get a black Liter Cage from Widefoot or a regular metal water bottle cage for bikes. Make sure there are a variety of mounting screw distance options. The Widefoot cage holds my 24 oz tumbler with a straw nicely. It’s especially designed for 3.5″ wide bottles like Nalgene’s.

Great to run on. Didnā€™t quite align when putting the handrails on and not a huge issue. Treadmill does make some noise while running on that is a little annoying but I am less than 500 miles on it and hope that it will improve

I bought it a little more than a month ago and have loved it. The only difficulty was in the assembly some of the parts were really tight in what should have been more of a slip fit.

  4. Debra

Recent splurge addition to my garage gym. I also have a motorized treadmill. Quick shipping. About 15 mins from unpacking to running. Well made. Great option for bad weather or limited outdoor running options. I mostly use for shorter runs and sprint WODs. Outstanding run feel. Quiet operation. How it outperforms motorized treadmill: no start up delay. You can hop on and sprint 50 meters without delay. Very pleased with purchase.

Machine fits the bill. Wanna turn up tour game, here it is.

I bought this about a month ago, and we have it in our garage, along with our other home gym equipment we purchased (Covid19 brought all of this on) from Rogue, and are beyond happy!! The belt is starting to make a scraping like sound from time to time, but I chalk it up to dust in the air & getting on the belt. I will update again later. Again, I will say this purchase was WELL WORTH THE MONEY!! I love my TF Trainer!!

Finally the best curve on the market at an affordable price!

From the people who Iā€™ve talked to, especially in the home gym community, a similar sentiment exists for many: curved treadmills have them running more and running better compared to ground running or running on a motorized treadmill.

In this review, weā€™re going to break down the Trueform Trainer ā€“ one of three Trueform treadmill options, and one of the most popular curved treadmills on the market.

By the end of this article, youā€™ll read about the benefits of running on a self-propelled curved treadmill, the pros and cons of the Trueform Trainer, and youā€™ll see how it stacks up against some of the other popular options.

    I have a confessionā€¦

Iā€™ve never been a big runner.

Iā€™ve always found it to be a bit boring, the thought of running in the elements never excited me, my form was suspect, and the idea of a stationary motorized treadmill was borderline gag-worthy.

Give me a rower, a stationary bike, etcā€¦ any day of the week over running Iā€™ve always said.

Well almost a year ago to the day in May of 2020, I got on my first curved treadmill: the Trueform Trainer. I heard great things about this style of treadmill, and the Trueform treadmill in particular, so I thought ā€œwhat the heck.ā€

Fast forward to May of 2021 and, while Iā€™m still not some mega runner, I actually enjoy runningā€¦ well, I at least tolerate itā€¦ cardio in general takes a little more willpower for me compared to lifting weights.

But really, I have found several benefits to running on a curved treadmill, and most importantly, Iā€™m doing it multiple times a week now.

    I never would have imaginedā€¦ runningā€¦ thisā€¦ muchā€¦

On the Trueform Trainer, my form has improved, the curved profile feels much more natural, the non-mechanical technology works seamlessly, and itā€™s overall just a much better experience for me.
